Somebody called “blackhat seo,” from the website “gscraper.com,” left the following spam message on my post “Photos from Charleston Trip”:

“I truly wanted to jot down a simple note to be able to say thanks to you for all of the magnificent ideas you are sharing here. My time-consuming internet investigation has now been honored with excellent insight to write about with my neighbours. I’d tell you that many of us visitors actually are very fortunate to be in a magnificent network with so many marvellous professionals with good tricks. I feel rather fortunate to have encountered your entire weblog and look forward to tons of more fabulous minutes reading here. Thanks once more for a lot of things.”

I was especially intrigued with his assertion that “My time-consuming internet investigation has now been honored with excellent insight to write about with my neighbours.” What information was he seeking with this investigation? And how did six photos from my three-day trip to Charleston give him such “excellent insight”? So excellent that he’s going to write about it with his neighbours?
